Kevin Ulrich

Kevin Ulrich is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KAS Ventures Partners, a global multi-strategy asset management firm.
Kevin Ulrich co-founded Anchorage Capital in New York in 2003. In his current role as Chairman, Kevin works closely with the Co-Chief Investment Officers on the firm’s portfolio management, research and investment decisions. He is the Chair of the Legacy Funds Investment Committee for the ACP Funds, AIO III, AIO IV, AIO V, AIO VI, and AIO VII (collectively, the “Legacy Funds”). During his time as CEO of Anchorage, the firm grew to become a leading alternative credit and distressed investment manager with over $30 billion in assets under management and operating affiliates in London and Luxembourg.
Kevin currently is the Chairman of the Board of J. Crew Group Inc. He previously was the Chairman of the Board of MGM Holdings, Inc. (“MGM”) and had been a director of MGM since December 2010, also serving as the head of the Compensation Committee. Kevin stepped down as Chairman of MGM in connection with the successful sale of MGM to Amazon, Inc. Prior to co-founding Anchorage, Kevin was Managing Director, Head of Distressed Bank Loans and Global Head of Bank Loan Trading at Goldman Sachs. In this capacity, Kevin was directly responsible for the trading operation and proprietary investment portfolio of the Goldman Sachs Bank Loan business.
Kevin has extensive years of experience in the financial services industry and received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated with honors, and a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
